Vitamin A in Cal-NateBy Kathleen from PA, USA on April 23, 2006 Category: Cal-Nate (Oral) I am six weeks pregnant and have been doing a lot of reading about proper nutrition. I have read that Vitamin A is not to be taken in supplement form, only from the foods you eat. Why is it that Cal-Nate contains Vitamin A? Is this safe for my baby? If I want to switch to another prenatal vitamin, which many I have noticed do not have Vitamin A, is this safe to do at this time? Thank you. |
