Long-term use of Prevacid SoluTabBy Page from San Diego, CA on January 14, 2006 Category: Prevacid SoluTab (Oral) My 8 year old daughter has been taking Prevacid for over a year. Due to insurance, we had to switch over to the SoluTab form 3 months ago. I am concerned with the length of time she has been on it and the long term effects on her body chemistry ( gastrin production etc.), as well as the Phenylalanine ingredient contained in the SoluTab. What are the dangers? What research has been done on the long-term use, especially of children taking Prevacid? What are the options? |
