Protid interactions with other medications?

I recently went to the doctor for an ear ache. I doctor examined me and said that I had fluid behind my ear drum. He gave me a prescription for protid and an antibotic called a z-pack. I have to take my protid 3 times a day and at 8:00 pm I take my antibotic. My question is, can the antibotic and the protid be interacting with each other to cause drowsiness? I do not get drowsy during the day taking the protid, but only when I take the antibotic.
