Pediatric dosing of Levalbuterol?By karen haslam from phx,arizona usa on January 02, 2006 Category: LEVALBUTEROL (Inhalation) (Spray) I work in a hospital that does not deal with children much.We had a 2 month old baby in distress yesterday with a high heart rate.The doctor wanted to give it xopenex.We could not find a dose for that young of a child.Do you know how we could handle this in the future.the amount of children in the E.R. is growing.I do not want to be the person to overdose a baby.If I could get a general rule for dosing children under 2yr old, it would help.
