Folgard OS and Centrum

I was originally taking Centrum once a day and then my doctor gave me a prescription for Folgard OS (twice a day). Was I supposed to stop taking the Centrum or continue taking both? Are they both multivitamins? I thought Folgard OS was just a B-complex with calcium.
