I'm guessing that nicotine will continue to be released for many hours even while using the Tramsdermal patch, but wanted to know if smoking would be too much nicotine if using the patch as well. Warehouse SupervisorI have been snoking 2 to 2.5 packs a day for over 30 years. I put the first 21mg patch on 5-23-06 at noon. since then I have smoked about 1 pack and it now 3:40 p.m. by now I would have smoked about 3 or more packs. My friend of over 12 years have heard that people have died from smoking with the patch in place. I know I have to want to stop smoking, and I do, but not enough to stop at once I reckon. let me know what my friend is anyshere correct.
