side effects of cheratussin vs. side effects of coldBy William Strong from St. Paul, MN on November 21, 2005 Category: Cheratussin AC (Oral) I'm experiencing shortness of breath and I noticed that that is one of the "overdose" side effects of this cough syrup; however I do have a bad cold, and have been coughing a lot due to my cold, and also a heavy smoker. Is the shortness of breath coming from the later or could it be a side effect of the cheratussin cough syrup? |
answer to side affectsYour shortness of breathe may be caused by the syrup because of the codiene in it. If you are smoking during your illness, that may also be a factor in your breathing. If you look up the side effects of codiene, you will see that it may cause shortness of breathe, that is why you should never exceed the reccomended dosage.
