Nausea

I have been taking Loestrin 1/20 for about 5 years now and for the past month or two I have been feeling nauseau during the 2nd week of the beginning of a new pack.  I am 50 years old and I also never miss a pill.  I highly doubt I am pregnant and I did take a home pregnancy test, although it's only been 3 weeks since my last period.  So again I doubt I'm pregnant.  Can you please tell me if this is common after taking the pill for so long?  Thank you.
