Possible severe side effect of Pitocin?

My Sister has a slight case of cerebral palsey, trouble with her balance, speech problems, most of her weakness is on her left side. She was given pitocin to move her labor along. She was on this drug for many hours with another drug named stadol. This did not help progrss the labor but noticabley seemed to worsen her C.P. and caused the baby to distress. She was than given an epidural and a emergency C-section. Her left side has been affected the most, she can only walk on her toes kind of dragging the leg and has caused the foot to hook. This seemed to stay just as bad even after the drug was out of her system 24 hrs. Today her rt foot seemed to be starting to do the same thing. My sister can not walk at this point and needs a therapist to help her get to the point of standing. Can you please tell me if people with Cerebral palsey are not supposed to use pitocin and if it is not supposed to be used with Stadol. Please let me know of the possible side effects and if this can be related to the drug.
