Nagging CoughBy Annette Morris from Stockbridge, GA on May 30, 2007 Category: Atenolol I am taking 50mg of Atenolol. I was also taking Lisinopril/HCTZ 10-12.5mg tab. Now I have developed a nagging cough. My doctor has told me to stop taking the Lisinophril. The cough has gotten a little better, but I still cough. Is it safe to continue taking the atenolol now that I am coughing? Should I ask my doctor to change medications? I have never had any hearth problems and I can't see why I was prescribed the atenolol. |
