Infant eeg and chloral hydrate

My daughter has to have an eeg in early april (dr. heard a heart murmur). She will be 7 1/2 weeks old. She needs to be sedated for the procedure and they are going to use chloral hydrate. Are there any side effects or things I should be worried about. Prodcedure to be done at Mt. Sinai in NYC
