Enpresse 28 VS. Triphasil 28By Lani Carmichael from Anaheim Hills, CA USA on October 01, 2006 Category: Enpresse-28 (Oral) Hello, I have been taking Trphasil 28 birth control since 1989 and recently learned that it is unavailable (temporarily out of stock) and have been advised by several pharmacist to take the generic, Enpresse 28..........can you tell me if there is a difference between Enpresse and Tripasil? Or is it just the coloring of the pills that are different............My Ob/Gyn kept me on Triphasil because it has worked for me with no side effects and helps my fibroids. I just want to be sure that Enpresse will work the same as Triphasil. Thank you. Lani |
Mrs.Yes, They are exactly the same. (except for the pill coloring) they have the same ingrediants. amounts and all. Enpresse is just the generic form of triphasl. I use enpresse. I have now been on Enpresse for years and have absolutely no problems (didn't with Triphasil either). I have not notice any changes with the switch. I've had no changes in the way the pills has worked for me from the switch. I've just recently learned that I am now going to be taking Trivora instead of enpresse ($10 per pack vs $28-30) anyway anxious to see if there is any difference. I've checked the ingrediants online and there seems to be no significant differnece in the doses of hormones. I'll post again after taking the Trivora.
