Specific Ingredients Of Insulin

My son age 37 has diabetes type 2 , this came about when he had a virus and he said he felt alot of pain that made him fall to his knees , he had all the symptoms of diabetes , thirsty all the time , sticky urine , blood in his urine , weakness , insommina is a constant , sleep for 30 min and then cant sleep for days, says he's tired all the time , 15 to 20 minutes of sleep somedays , and other days cant sleep at all , pain in his legs , sharp shooting pain in his leg muscles calves and on the bottoms of his feet , irritable , moody and won't eat alot because his sugar levels go very high in just a few hours , gets up in the morning and his sugar level is 40 and when he eats toast , and drinks orange jiuce , his sugar went to 220 in two hours , he will inject insulin and it takes a while to work , he is very frustrated at what is happening and he cant seem to figure what to do , he works in construction as a sheet rock hanger and he is active 10 hours a day except when he cant sleep and he feels like he will just collaspe from just being so tired , but he cant fall asleep , my question , could the type of insulin cause this , or could one or more of the ingredients within the insulin product cause this insommina and pain?

He has no insurance and when he went to a doctor , he was told that he would not be seen unless he paid cash right there for the visit , and others just turned him away because he didnot have any insurance . Where can he go now ? I'm not sure if this is even what your looking for , but I have tried all I know and haven't gotten anywhere . Thanks ..
