Hot feet, Not diabetisBy DonAnthony from Atlantic City,New Jersey on August 24, 2006 Category: Gabapentin My doctor perscribed Gabapentin 100-3x a day for my hot feet .I was tested and don't have anything shown.No diabetis nerve problems. He said their is no reason or cure for this. My medication makes me verey tired and loss of energy.I was also given Amitriptylin-25mg 1/2 pills at night for sleep.It dosen't make me sleep but the next day I doze off alot. My doctor dosen't tell me much only when I really get mad.The Gabapentin sems to work ok on my hot feet by I cut down to two pills a day. I cannot go on taking these pills. Do you have any answers for me. I like my doctor but I think I have to get a new one. I am retired,sixtyeight yrs old,male and bike ride alot for exercise. I been drinking over 10 cans of diet soda a day. I do not drink alcohol.Quit smoking over twenty years ago and use salt sparringly. I am 6'2" 240 pounds and my B/P is 113/73 due to the meds I guess. My B/P average was about 132/80 befoe the hot feet. Can you give me some advise? Thanks, Don |
