I recently started Lisinopril at 10 mg. The dose has been increased to 20 mg. for better BP control. I find this dose makes me tired-fatigued, but it has helped my blood pressure come down. Can a 20 mg. dose be taken closer to bedtime, such as around 8 p.m. rather than during the day to avoid fatigue during the day while working?

Linsinopril  maybe taken any time of the day. So, if it makes you fatigued , bedtime is appropriate.

Just for your general information, linsinopril is usually dosed starting at 5 mg for 2 weeks, then increased by 5 mg every 2 weeks until the desired blood pressure is reached.  Starting low helps eliminate side effects as you described as it gradually lets your body get acquainted with the drug.

10/12.5 Lisinopril/HCTZ doseage

Am currently taking one tab of 10/12.5 Lisinopril/HCTZ daily and my blood pressure runs 140/high 80's. From what I've read the doseage can be increased if, after 2-3 weeks, the desired results are not being achieved. If this is true is there any harm in increasing my doseage to two tabs/day?

Thanks in advance,
