What are the side effects if you stop taking Procardia

My wife is currently taking 60mg tabs of Nifedipine Xl (generic for Procardia). She takes this along with 50 MG of Atenolol (Generic for Tenormin) and 25MG of Hydrochlorot. Additionally she takes potassium.

She began acting very weird about a week ago. She was acting as if she was high on drugs. Depressed, and basically acted as if she was a junky (for lack of a better word).

I have begged her to go get help, couseling, medical angthing. I finally called the doctor and we have an appointment today in the drop in clinic. Just this morning she tells me that about a week and a half ago she stopped taking all her medications in an attempt to see if she needed to take them anymore.

My questions is whether her stopping the meds caused this behavior. She is now throwing up every 15 - 30 minutes. Please help?
