When can I be pregnant after stopping taking Trivora-28?By Anna from Ossining, NY on May 17, 2006 Category: Trivora-28 (Oral) When can I be pregnant after stopping taking Trivora-28? If I try to have a baby right after stopping the medicine, is there any side effect or undesired consequence to the baby? Thanks. |
Stopping Trivora-28 - On-Going EffectsI was searching for information and came accross Anna's question. I also want to know how long it would take - on average - before you can become pregnant once you stop taking Trivora. I stopped taking Trivora in May and haven't had a period since. I am a little disturbed that over two months later this pill has had such an effect on my body that there's no telling when I'll begin to menstruate again. Is Trivora particularly strong, or known to have this effect? I did not imagine that it could cause temporary infertility to such a degree. They warn you you could become pregnant if you miss two pills yet I can't even have a period after two months without them. I would like to know why I've not yet had a period. Are there still levels of the hormones in my body that will stay for months? Or did the pill affect my ovaries in a way that will take them months to recover from? From other information I've been able to find online the suggestion is that it can take six months to resume periods. Why? My doctor never mentioned this side-effect to me. Thank you for your time.
