Side Effects of Bismuth, Metronidazole, TetracyclineBy Vickie from North Carolina USA on May 09, 2006 Category: Bismuth, Metronidazole, Tetracycline My son has been taking these drugs, he had a reaction after taking one of the doses after eating a meal. He became very sick, dizzy, and fell down on his knees because he throught he was going to throw up. My other son came to help him, he said that he was taking out of his head and cusing. My son taking the drug said he didn't remember saying anything. He could not remember anything except trying to throw up. He also said when he chews up the 2 pink pills that his stomach starts to swell and he can see his shirt jump as if something is inside his stomach. Has any else had these reaction to these drugs.
