Folgard and other meds causing unpleasant odorBy Marta F from Miami, Florida on May 06, 2006 Category: Folgard Rx 2.2 (Oral) My husband takes Folgard RX Tabs (new formula) along with these other medications: Lipitor 80mg, Quinapril 40mg, and Niaspan 1000mg. He also takes multiple vitamins in <u>addition.</u> He has been taking these for a few years now on a daily basis. My question is: Could it be possible that any of these medications or the combination of them may be causing an unusual odor that I have been noticing, something difficult to describe, but somewhat a medicinal / vitamin like smell that is coming thru his pores. I have a strong suspicion this is a reaction of these vitamins/medications he is taking. I hope you can put my suspicions to rest. His pill bottles have a similar smell, and are partly why I have come to this conclusion. If so, what should he do, is he taking too much perhaps? Please review and send me any info that can be of help. Thank you very much. |
