Classification: Aphthous ulcer product. Action/Kinetics: Mechanism not known. May be absorbed through GI tract. Uses: Treat aphthous ulcers in those with normal immune systems. Special Concerns: Use caution during lactation. Safety and efficacy in children have not been determined. Side Effects: Transient pain, burning, or stinging at application site. Contact mucositis, nausea, diarrhea. How Supplied: Paste: 5%
