These symptoms may include bone pain, blood in the urine, or trouble urinating. This is only temporary. However, the symptoms may become serious enough to need medical attention. Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects:

  • Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in face or hands, swelling or tingling in the mouth or throat, tightness in chest, trouble breathing
  • Rapid weight gain
  • Swelling of face, hands, legs, or feet
  • Weakness or loss of muscle control, especially in the legs or feet
  • If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:
  • Bone pain
  • Decreased interest in sex, inability to have or maintain an erection
  • Headache
  • Hot flashes
