why should I not crush up a laxative?

I would like to know why I should not crush up a laxative? They are bisacodyl delayed-release tablets. 5 mg each and I crushed up 2 of them in my drink because I can't swallow pills.

  • Take each dose with at least 8 ounces (1 cup) of water. You could choke if you do not drink enough water when you take this medicine. Drink at least 6 to 8 full glasses of liquid every day to help soften your stools (bowel movements).

Read the directions on the package label if you want to use a liquid other than water, because you can use different liquids for different brands of laxatives. Do not swallow the powder or granules dry.

First it is obvious that you don't know the dfereifnce between the products you are listing. As for their side effects? Those are the same has steroids! No more not less. Pro hormone are tough on your liver, and mess up your testosterone and estrogen level if use improperly. But like steroids, if used correctly, those can be use safely, and everything will be just fine. You just need to educate yourself better. I understand, thing might be confusing, but you really need to take the time to inform yourself.
