Infuvite Pediatric (Injection) is used for the Treatment

Vitamin supplements for patients receiving parenteral nutrition (TPN).

When To Not Use Infuvite Pediatric (Injection)

You should not use this medicine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to a vitamin that is in this medicine. Do not give to children before they have been tested for anemia.

How Should You Use Infuvite Pediatric (Injection)

Injectable

  • Your doctor will prescribe your exact dose and tell you how often it should be given. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children.
  • This medicine will be mixed and added to your parenteral nutrition (TPN) bag which is given IV. An IV infusion is medicine that is put directly into your body through one of your veins. Make sure you understand how to mix the vitamins.
  • This medicine should be given by a person trained to give IV medicine, such as a nurse. Sometimes you, a family member, or friend can be taught to give your medicine.
  • Check the bag to make sure there are no leaks.
  • The vitamins will make your TPN bag turn yellow. This is normal.
  • If a dose is missed:
  • This medicine needs to be given on a regular schedule. If you miss one day, skip that dose and return to your normal schedule. You should not use two doses at the same time.
  • Missing one dose of vitamins is usually not a cause for concern.

Store Infuvite Pediatric (Injection) at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture unless otherwise stated by manufacturer's instructions or labelling. Keep Infuvite Pediatric (Injection) and all medications out of the reach of children.

What To Avoid While Using Infuvite Pediatric (Injection)
