For the past two or three years, I have been taking a generic Citalopram pill (20mg) every night before bed and probably will be for the rest of my life. After I gave birth to my last child, the doctors realized that I had an imbalance of serotonin in my system. The medicine helps me feel relaxed, happy and in control. In fact, my family, friends and co-workers have all commented on my upbeat attitude and positive outlook. Furthermore, when I miss a dose, I feel moody and anxious.
