Rx anemagen with OTC multivitamin

I am 33 wks pregnant, my doctor told me to take an iron supplement along with my prenatal multivitamin. My doctor's nurse called in anemagen OB and told me to take this along with my OTC prenatal vitamin, is this correct? Thank you, Jaime
