Content:
Contains from 10% to 50% insulin injection and from 50% to 70% isophane insulin. Except for Humulin 50/50 and Novolin ge 50/50, the larger number in the product refers to the percentage of isophane insulin suspension.
Action/Kinetics:
This combination allows for a rapid onset (30-60 min) due to insulin injection and a long duration (24 hr) due to isophane insulin.
Peak effect: 4-8 hr.

Adults: Individualized and given once daily 15-30 min before breakfast, or as directed.
