Uses: Hypocalcemia, calcium deficiency, tetany of newborn, hypoparathyroidism, pseudohypoparathyroidism, osteoporosis, rickets, osteomalacia.

How Supplied: Syrup; Tablet

?Syrup, Tablets Dietary supplement.
Adults and children over 4 years: 15 mL t.i.d.-q.i.d. Pediatric (under 4 years): 10 mL t.i.d. Infants: 5 mL 5 times/day.
Tetany of newborn.
On the basis of laboratory tests, usually 50-150 mg/kg/day in three or more divided doses.
Other calcium deficiencies.
Adults: 15-45 mL 1-3 times/day.
NOTE: The preparation contains 115 mg calcium ion/5 mL.

Well, actually you do not need to eat an amt for 2 adtuls..rather 1 and 1/2. The baby does not need near the amt. of food that adtuls do, so you actually do not eat for 2. Remember to eat healthy eat for 1 1/2 the baby will hopefully be healthy so will you, will probably not be left with as much fat after the pregnancy..often times this is many women's problem b/c they want to eat enough for themselves the baby who can blame them. But before you take this advice, I would talk to the doctor 1st. May God bless you your little one! Take care!
