Hello,

I was hoping someone can help...I am 45yrs old...I have had a hysterectomy 15 yrs ago...I have had bladder surgery..burch procedure....Now I am having alot of pelvic pain...on the right side..it feels like I am ovulating...I still have my ovaries. But the pain also feels like its in my back..and runs down my leg to my foot...sounds weird..but thaqts how it feels...I am not sure what is hurting..the pain seems to be all over in the lower part of my pelvis on the right side...but yet in my lower back going down my leg....strange.

I'm not sure how long ago your had your bladder suspension surgery but a person typically has good results for 13-15 years. If you had your surgery years ago, then you could be having recurrent problems from that. If your bladder has dropped again, then you can expect that your colon has as well. Have you seen your Gynecologist recently? If not, you need to make an appointment to be seen soon. You really should see the one who did your previous surgeries, if possible. You need to have a pelvic exam or a Hysteroscopy so the doctor can assess your situation. A CT Abdomen & Pelvis should be something to consider.

I had my burch procedure 6 yrs ago.....and a previous c-section 17 yrs ago...and where they cut me for the burch procedure was in the same place..i had staples...an intern took them out too soon..and in one spot...it leaks sometimes..and smells....i have an appt with my urologist thursday..hoping he can access whats going on..my previous urologists is in another state now..sigh..so...we will see what happens. thanks for the reply
