I just got my pap results back and they were abnormal...I talked to the nurse today and she said I have a few abnormal cells...I have to go back and have one done in 6 months and have the HPV test then as well. The thing is, I have a cyst/growth that is in the left hand side around the opening, and also my left side wall of my vagina is bulged out and not really sore, but I can feel preasure on it. I told her all these things as she did the pap but acted like it was nothing to worry about...I'm still not so sure. My grandma was diagnosed with cervical cancer about a year ago...Any ideas of what it could be? Thanks...this has really had me worried!

My girlfriend was also found to have abnormal cells on her cervix. They told her it is hpv condylomas and she was told to come again in 6 months time. During her next exam, the doc said that condyloma were still very very small and made another one in 6 months again. A year after she wasn't found anything by two other doctors.
