BRAVA breast enhancement product Quote | Reply

Hi People, Just wondering if anyone has heard of the Brava Breast
enhancement and shaping product? (www.brava.com). I am thinking of
doing it, but I'd like some feedback if anyone has tried it, or knows
of someone who has? Thanks! =-)

Re: BRAVA breast enhancement product [In reply to] Quote | Reply

There is no such thing as a product that enlarges ones breasts. The
only certain method is surgical enhancement. There are tons of
enhancement products out there and it is a huge money-making business
for the companies that promote them. Honestly, if there was a pill of
some sort that could be taken, don't you think patients would choose
that method over surgery? Surgeons would be promoting it as well.
Please don't waste your money on that. Be happy with the way that you
look now. Enhancement products can have harmful side effects on your
major organs, and most cause constipation.

Smithn is exactly right about these breast enhancing products. None of
these products have ever been proven to work. In fact, so many of
these enhancement products are just complete and utter scams designed
to take advantage of innocent people and their money. I would take
the advice of Smithn and stay away from them. If you want this kind of
enhancement and have thought long and hard about it, speak with your
doctor or a plastic surgeon about enhancement and save your money for
something like that option that works...

Thanks for your feedback! I did speak to my doctor who wanted me to
get some feedback from people that may have actually used the product.
I wouldn't opt for pills/medicines or plastic surgery, but this just
seems to use a pulse and suction pads which kind of make the breast
tissue grow... which, although I know it can be a money-making scheme,
from looking at the site, it seems to make a difference. Of course not
a massive difference that plastic surgery would do, but one cup size
is a whole lot better than what I have now, or don't have i should
say.

Re:BRAVA breast enhancement product [In reply to] Quote | Reply

The BRAVA product will not work to increase your breast size. What it
will do is cause a swelling of the breast tissue which, in turn, will
make them appear slightly larger for a very short time from the
swelling that occurs from the manipulation of the tissue. Then, when
you call the company or try to return the product, they will give you
a lame excuse by telling you things like, "Individual results vary".
Again, if this product worked by any means, surgeons would be
promoting it. Surgeons don't WANT to perform surgery unless they have
to - they are healers and a good one will not perform any surgery
unnecessarily. Please don't buy this scam product. And, surgical
enhancement isn't always what it's cracked up to be. I have seen so
many patients with so much scarring from the procedure that it
sometimes makes the breast look badly altogether. There is the worry
of implants hardening, displacing, infection.... the list goes on. Be
happy with what God gave you.

Good point smithn, I have seen so many people suffering from breast
augmentations, lifts, increasing size, etc. that the cons outweight
the pros for breast enhancement through surgery almost all of the
time. It seems like hardening is what I hear about moreso than the
others, although infection is very common as well.

You are so right. Also, many women (and the men out there who are
encouraging any woman to have this type of surgery) do not realize
that once you go through with it, there is "upkeep" involved. Breast
tissue changes in elasticity as time passes and as the normal sagging
process occurs, these implants can displace quite easily which leads
to further surgery. Even if everything goes perfectly for those that
have this surgery, they will eventually have to have surgery again to
maintain their shape as time goes on. Many people are very happy
initially, then have much regret later. If it were me, I would only
have a breast surgery performed in the case of cancer or something
medically necessary.

If only all guys were open minded they would like any breast size and
feel that overall breast size really doesn't matter. But, as we all
know, some people are very superficial...

Re:BRAVA breast enhancement product [In reply to] Quote | Reply

Thanks again for your thoughts. The doctor also spoke to me about
elasticity and sagging for the future... and although it is like
3-4months of wearing this product, 10hrs a day, it does kind of seem
too good to be true.. The product will have a slight increase, like
an A cup to a small B cup..which to me is a big difference... I'm not
superficial, nor do I like superficial people.. and my boyfriend is
fine with me as I am... but it's just the feeling of embarassment of
going to the beach and wanting to hide more than anything.. I still
have to take a breast ultrasound before I can order the product..
But a lot of what you're saying seems to link more to actual surgery -
augmentation or pills... Iknow I should be happy with what I've got,
but what i've got hasn't changed since I was 14, putting on/losing
weight makes no difference.. I just find it all strange.

Re:BRAVA breast enhancement product [In reply to] Quote | Reply

Maraki, I know how you are feeling, I really do. I want you to keep in
mind though that this BRAVA product will not increase the size of your
breasts the way that will satisfy you. Breast tissue is composed of
adipose (fat) tissue and connective tissue. BRAVA will not
[u:851f1cd0c2]increase the
[/u:851f1cd0c2][u:851f1cd0c2]amount[/u:851f1cd0c2] of tissue. BRAVA
will "[u:851f1cd0c2]expand[/u:851f1cd0c2]" the tissue... or in other
words, stretch it. Wearing this product for 10 hours a day in turn,
causes swelling which gives the (short time) appearance of slightly
larger breasts. Over time, your breast size will return to their old
appearance only possibly with more sagging. Also, the BRAVA product
(like many other breast enhancement products) is not FDA approved.
Only the laboratories themselves are. If you are going to go ahead and
try this product, I urge you to have a mammogram or breast ultrasound
first to rule out any abnormalities in your breasts. If you
unknowingly have a cancerous tumor in either breast, this BRAVA
product can allow enough compression to possibly may cause this to
rupture, thereby spreading cancer cells into surrounding tissues. This
can potentially lead to more invasive cancers and metastases. Just
please consider the risks and decide if they are worth it.

Hello Maraki,
I hope my reply is not too late. I am a current brava user and I am loving it!!!. I can understand how some people be skeptical about the product. Just like you I have done research. I have worn brava for 12 weeks now with a average of 13 hrs. per day wear and I came from a small B to a full B so far. One thing I can advice you before you buy the system is to reflect to yourself how bad do you really want it. Why? because it requires a lot of commitment, and tenatiousness and I am not kidding!. If you want to talk about this further just reply back!

I'm not sure about the Brava product, but one of my friends mentioned a breast enhancement product she used a while back. I will try to get the name from her, but I do remember noticing her breasts were bigger and she said she experienced no pain or side effects.

I will post here within a few days after I speak to her.

Marika,
Another late reply from a BRAVA user. I'm only half way through my treatment, at best. The holidays produced several interuptions. I started out with an A cup but can no longer wear the bras I had. The shape has changed and niples have definitely gotten bigger. I'm hoping that at the end of treatment I'll maintain the B+/C that I see in the morning. If interested in my progress email me.

Hey, I am thinking of buying the Brava system, I was just wondering if "USERS" could tell me more about their experiences. I do have the money to waste if it would happen not to work, so that isn't the problem. I am more concerned of the validity of the product (from people who have experienced it) and any side effects that it has caused. Any info please e-mail me.[reply]

Yes, the product does not work as they advertised. I, myself used it and followed exactly what the manual said and wore it more hours than they recommended but it only made my breast appear slightly larger for 2 0r 3 hours because of its swelling, but my breast were very itchy and irritated. Besides, when I bought the BRAVA products the first day the smart box did not work I called and talked to them many times but they just kept saying that because there were so many patients using it and they had only 2 lines. They advised me to transfer my info. at early in the morning and I even woke up at 2, 3 am but it never worked. Don't ever never buy this scam product. You just threw your money away.

If its not too late! Brava does not work. I used is for 12 weeks, more than 10 hours a day (pretty tricky with kids and a career). As Smithn replied earlier, the product creates temporary swelling. My breast cup-size went from a small A to a small B. This lasted for a couple months. After ten months, my breast size has returned to an A cup. I don't think they are smaller then before I started but definitely not bigger. It is a huge committment and not worth the effort. See Brav-argh blog.

Without a doubt, people are going to have different responses to Brava. I'm on the LOVE it side. I have maintained a full cup size growth since I stopped using the system almost 3 months ago. It is a pain to maintain the ten hour a day routine, but for me, it was worth it. I encountered problems with the Smartbox turning off at night, and had to start over sometimes, but I would really recommend this to anyone who doesn't think surgery is a viable option for them. It would have been easier to go under the knife certainly. But for me personally, having "earned" my breasts this way was worth it. Good luck.

Hi! I stumbled upon this thread...
I know of a product similar to Brava, it's an "off brand", but it's been on TV documentaries. A woman shared her story of using this machine and gained a cup or two...I forget which one it was. Anyways, she gained quite a bit!!
Let me know if you're interested in more info.

I've never tried Brava, but I tried a similar product...I gained a little less than a cup size, which was still amazing for mw, given I was a 34A to start. I fill out shirts better now. I have not had any sagging or any other side effects...and my results have stuck! Anyways...fabulizz.com carries it now. They even offer payment plans like Brava does...or 'best offers'! I got mine for $700. Which isn't cheap. But compared to surgery...was great.

So whatever happened with the brava?? Did it work for you?? I am a 34AA and I just want to be a little bit bigger, I don't want to be a C or anything, just a full A would be nice. Let me know if you think I should try it. Thanks!!

Hi.. Unfortunately, i have not yet purchased the Brava product. When I intended to, other things came up and this was kind of pushed till last, even though it was constantly on my mind- moreso in the past year.
I will let you know how I go... I appreciate all the feedback I have been getting, and it is realistic to receive both positive and negative feedback.
thanks again.
Please let me know if any one has had experiences with this, or their opinions...

I am also very interested in the brava and thinking of getting it. I know how you feel. I am a very petite girl and I just want to feel more confident about my body. I just want to have a small increase in breast size that is why I would rather do the brava then implants. But I want to make sure it works before I spend all that money and especially TIME on it. Any feedback would be great!!

Hi-
I see your post is over a year old. Are you still pleased with the results? Did you use a doctor or go it alone? Do you think age is a factor? I am in my mid-fifties, so obviously my dissatisfaction with my breast size is something I have lived with a long time. I won't consider surgery for a number of reasons: 1) the likelihood of having to have repeated surgeries over the years, 2) fear of loss of sensation, 3) I am thin and very small breasted - I think the outline of the implant would be visible/palpable. 4) I find 99% of the photos I have seen in plastic surgeons' websites ugly and unnatural I am writing all this to explain that I am definitely motivated.

With regard to surgery, do any of you know anything about the cohesive gel implants like inamed's style 410?
