Luk- You might have to give it a few weeks to see if your body
adjusts to the pill you are taking. If you switch to another, this
same reaction could happen. It's all a new change to your system. When
I took them, I never had any problems at all like that so maybe
someone else has some good advice for you. The only thing you can try
is to eat something first so you aren't taking them on an empty
stomach?

Hey luk, how are you doing?

Vomiting associated with the use of Tri-Sprintec may be related to blood clots and require immediate medical or emergency help. Nausea however, usually do not require medical attention (report to your health care provider if they continue or are bothersome).

Also tell your prescriber or health care professional if you are a frequent user of drinks with caffeine or alcohol, if you smoke, or if you use illegal drugs. These may affect the way your medicine works.

Best wishes,

I just started tri-sprintec three days ago. Last night, I was up all
night throwing up. I had to work today but felt nauseous the entire
time. Now, at 12:30am, I should be sleeping but I still feel like I am
going to throw up. I have also been experiencing headeaches. I wear
contacts and my eyes feel like they are straining to see, they are
irritated more than usual. Whether or not these conditions are related
to tri-sprintec, I am not sure. But I did not experience these before
I began the pills.

I was only taking tri-sprintec for four days(1st time taking birth control) for mild acne- and felt sick to my stomach, headache, and threw up a couple times. It made me really tired, and I had trouble breathing. The doctor told me to stop using them, and these effects lasted for about week after I stopped using them. But he gave me no-reason to
believe it was anything serious, and thought anxeity played a part to it.

I just starting taking Sprintec (not Tri-Sprintec) and I also had some nausea. I vomited the first day I took the pill but it cleared up very quickly. I found that if I ate food when I took the pill, it settled my stomach a lot better and prevented me from being nauseated. You might try it. Everyone does different things on BC.
