I Need Help Losing Weight Quote | Reply

Hey everyone I am new here and I am in desperate need of losing
weight. I am 24 years old and I weight 145 pounds. A few years back I
used to weigh 125 pounds and that is what I want to get back to. I
hate the way I look and feel right now. I am always miserable which
makes people around me miserable. I have tried a number of times and
ways to lose weight but nothing seems to be working. I eat healthy and
work out (not as much as I should) and even change up my fitness
routine but I don't see any results. I lack the motivation and energy
behind losing weight. I don't have enough motivation to go to the gym
and work out as much as I should and I def. do not have the energy. I
have so much going on in my life with work and working on my masters
that I rarely have time for anything. All I know for sure though is
that I need to lose weight and I need to lose it as fast as possible.
If anyone has any suggestions please do help. I have had a few
suggestions from people to try xenadrine nrg (seems tempting to try)
What do you think about these options? Does anyone else have any
suggestions? I have a pack of xenadrine nrg that I am going to try I
think.

Who isn't familiar with these symptoms? When you are pursuing a goal, it's -always- something that wants to get in your way.

So my advice to you is: just stay focused on your goal. No one has ever, not gotten a masters degree because they weighed a few pounds more than they expected.

This is only a way to get you side-tracked; focused on something else besides your goal. If you bite the hook, you will be reeled-in just like the others.

Negativity, will attack from the North, East, South, and West. So don't let a few pounds cause you to be a college drop-out and not fulfill you purpose in life.

Nothing should come in between that. Not even being over weight (besides, if you can get a masters degree, what's a few pounds to loose?)!

Hope this answers your question!

Re: I Need Help Losing Weight [In reply to] Quote | Reply

Do you have a treadmill? It is one of the best investments you could
ever make. I would NEVER use diet pills of any kind. They are all
harmful to your major organs. It's difficult to find the time for
exercise but you would be surprised what you can squeeze in if you
really set your mind to it. You will feel motivated once you force
yourself to get into a routine. 20 minutes a day would be great and
you don't even have to do it all at once. You could do 10 minutes in
the morning and 10 at night or whenever you get the chance on any
given day. Eat less. Drink a lot of water. Chew gum. If you can even
lose 1 to 3 pounds of weight per month, it is progress. Don't weigh
yourself often since there are too many factors that influence the
scale. Fluid retention is a big one. If you get on the scale too often
and don't see results, it is easier to give up. Weigh yourself once a
month. What some people would give to only have to lose 20 pounds like
you! If you feel you need to lose 20, that's great that you are
wanting to deal with it now rather than later after it's crept up to
30 or 40 or even 100#. I would love to lose 20 pounds myself. After my
hysterectomy, I found my metabolism slowed. My GYN said that I can't
blame my surgery on it but it sure seems like that's when it all began
to change. It's hard, I know, but just try to force yourself to do
something every day that will get your heartrate up. You don't even
have to sweat, just get the heartrate going. Hey, good luck to you!

Hey thanks so much for all the advice. I really appreciate it. Like
you said, thank god I only have to lose 20 pounds and not 100 or more.
I just hate the way I feel all the time. 20 pounds to me seems like
100 because I am not used to feeling this way. It all started when I
got engaged and now all me and my finance do is go out to eat or get
ice cream and then lay down in bed to watch a movie or tv and all the
fat just sits in my stomach. I do try and eat healthy though. Like if
we go out to eat I will make sure that I behave myself and will try to
order something low in fat and I won't eat bread. When we get ice
cream I'll even skip all the good toppings like hot fudge or brownies
and stick with the plain vanilla. I also go to the gym and exercise
but I feel like I am not getting anywhere. Every time I weigh myself I
get so dissapointed because I am trying so hard and not getting
anywhere. I am going to try what you said (Smithn) and I am not going
to weigh myself everyday and just try doing it monthly instead. I am
still hesitant about xenadrine nrg, I don't know what to do. I am
really confused. :?:

If you don't have any luck in finding a workout partner, a personal trainer is a good option. They can motivate you and train you in a variety of different exercises and activities.

If you're planning to bike or swim with your spouse or partner or your children, then you may find that being a "weekend warrior" exerciser is best. Even - your dog (or your neighbor's/friend's dog/even an imaginary friend) will also be more than happy to be your workout partner!!

I stumbbled across a great site that could be a daily guide in helping you loose weight (Online Weight Loss Program) Weight Loss Guide and it's FREE. It offers, exercise plans, exercise meal plans, and some diet basics to get you on track to where you want to be!

Do be aware though, obesity constitutes as the most prevalent metabolic disorder in countries where the food supply is abundant. It occurs when the caloric intake exceeds the energy requirement of the body for physical activity and growth.

For the most part obesity is preventable. Unfortunately, although the prescription for its cure is uniquely simple, the successful application of the treatment for a prolonged periods of a lifetime is most difficult.

There is no doubt in my mind that you can and will loose weight. There are some medical issues involved in weight gain, so it would be a good idea to see a qualified medical personnel before you start any workout regimen - especially if you have already been diagnosed with a previous disorder.

Hope this helps! Laugh

Bkdaniels, thanks for your advice. It's just that during the week I am
running around and working and stuff that when the weekends come I am
so tired and all I want to do is relax. I have don't have any energy
or motivation to get out and exercise. But I guess it won't hurt to
give it a try. I'll try to get my fiance out with me, maybe we could
go rollerblading or something, if not him then maybe I'll just have a
run with our pug. And also thanks for the site, I will definitely give
it a good look.

Have You Tried Metabolic Typing Yet? [In reply to] Quote | Reply

To Need Help Losing Weight: Diet pills are a quick fix that will
leave your health in shambles. When all is said and done, you will end
up gaining the weight back, plus a few more pounds. I gained 50
pounds during my pregnancy and about 30 fell off rather easily with
exercise and breast feeding. But then my weight loss just stopped
completely. A friend suggested I figure out what my metabolic type was
(carb, protein, or mixed). I did and turns out, my body works best
with more CARBS than protein! I made some healthy diet changes and
even started including HEALTHY fats into my diet...these are fats that
stimulate your metabolism and actually help you to lose weight rather
than gain weight. Coconut Oil worked wonders for me. And, it
stimulated my sluggish thyroid and I got my energy back too. I
started cooking with it and I got hooked...all the foods I was
preparing not only tasted better - but were healthier too. You don't
have to like coconut to use it. I am not a fan of the taste of
coconut. But the oil really enhances the flavor of foods. Plus, it
worked miracles on my hair and skin. It took me four months, but I
am just a few pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight. Just in time
to start thinking about baby number two (I'm in my late 30's...gotta
move fast). If you want to find out your metabolic type, and more
about the benefits of coconut oil... go to www.mercola.com. Tons of
helpful info here from a REAL doctor. You can sift through what makes
sense to you and what doesn't. You can literally change your whole
life with proper nutrition. I did. Good luck - and please don't gamble
on your health with diet pills...you may not regret it now, but you
will pay the price later. --Been there, done that

Thanks so much for your advice. A lot of people feel that way about products that help you lose weight, that is why I am so confused on what to do. I did some research on it and it is not supposed to have any side effects and I know some people who have taken it and it worked for them. I don't know what to do. I will give that site a look that you gave me and change my eating habits. Congrats to you for losing all your weight, thats awesome. Hopefully I will be able to do the same.

I agree that it is very confusing what to take-THe best thing I find is to think simple-Fruits , veggies, water lean proteins.

Cucumber and celry jiuce with apple is a great cleanser and helps with weight loss-sugar levels should be taken seriously as well -low glycemic foods

If you add supplements-layer them one at a time to see what is working for you-

I like C

In Reply To
arnatine and CLA it works well and other sugar burners alike benaba and chromium-there are some good companies that carry them together- I think one is called OXyburn that works well for me and others I know

Anyway, Good luck

Hi! You know, I was in the same position as you when I was busy with my master's degree. So far, you have received some great advice on how to lose weight. One point that I would add would be this...don't stress about it too much, and try to change your mindset. I found that when I was obsessed with trying to take the weight off, it never came or was as slow as molasses. When I focused more on making smart food choices, stopped beating myself up over eating a cookie, and took walks to enjoy the scenary and clear my head, I was much more successful. I think that diets don't work because there is so much focus on what not to eat, and what not to do. There are so many negatives!! Instead, focus on the positives of eating healthy. Think more positively about your weigh loss and how wonderful it is that you have the health and ability to exercise. Give it a try...I can say that it worked for me, and has helped me to keep the weight off. Also, try to stay away from xenadrine or any weight loss aid. I've tried a lot of them, and I just didn't like the way they made me feel. If you lose your weight the natural way, you will appreciate it all the more. Good luck!

SmileI was recently introduced to a new product called Ketone. This is a patented, FDA-approved weight loss program. The founder of Ketone, Dr. John Gustin, has solved the "uncoupling" effect, which as I understand it, is where the body burns fats and sugars in the liver. It works even while we are sleeping. I know this sounds crazy, but I am a walking testimonial. This Ketone program burns the fat and by us eliminating the fats in our diets, we can maintain our desired weight. Email me and I will tell you how to obtain some of this Ketone.

There is some evidence that a high consumption of sugar-sweetened foods may lead not only to obesity but to impotence and premature ejaculation, unrealistic sexual attitudes and expectations, strong urges, strange fantasies, and even crimes of sexual violence.

The "Twinkie Defense" ???

Your body runs on sugar, and your brain requires it. 3 minutes or so without glucose, and the brain starts to die.

There is so much mis-information on sugar and many other food stuffs, that trying to even touch on them is pointless.

Normal people, with normal metabolisms will deal with sugar, caffeine, salt and other chemicals in reasonable amounts. People with altered metabolism such as diabetics will have "issues" with things normal people will not. People with physical conditions such as heart disease will have problems with some things like salt and caffeine that can excite the heart or overload the vascular system.

But saying sugar can cause you to become violent means SOMETHING ELSE is going on, and analysis of the Twinkie Defense ever since it was used supports that.

As DOW used to say, sort of, without SUGAR, life itself would be IMPOSSIBLE.

The best way to loose weight is doing exercise and eating less. Among all these exercising more is the best among all these.
If you stop eating food will not lose any weight, instead of this your body will feel weak.
so Try to get full information on diet pills
