Initially, Synthroid should be taken 4 hours apart from drugs that are known to interfere with its absorption and as a Precaution. Many drugs affect thyroid hormone pharmacokinetics and metabolism (e.g., absorption, synthesis, secretion, catabolism, protein binding, and target tissue response) and may alter the therapeutic response to SYNTHROID. However, there is no reported drug reaction(s) between the two drugs (beta-blocker and thyroid hormones). Nevertheless, you should discuss this matter with your doctor because all drug and/or laboratory interactions are not listed. Hope this answers your question! REFERENCES 1. The Prison Hospital Prisoner: Look here, doctor! You've already removed my spleen, tonsils, adenoids, and one of my kidneys. I only came to see if you could get me out of this place! Doctor: I am, bit by bit. -- Aha! Jokes
