shaving pudic hair? Quote | Reply

i tried sahving my pubes yesterday. it went ok at first. i trimmed them very low so i could shave them with a manual razor (gilette fusion power). i tried the 'go with the grain, and then away' method. going with the 'grain' (or hair direction) worked ok, but when i tried going away, it caused me much irritation. it hurt, cut me, and the hairs wouldnt shave. i tried it with more shaving cream, and still no results. when i woke up this morning, the whole area was very red, with irritation bumps. i want to continue to shave, but i dont know what to do! any suggestions techniques or methods to shaving the pubic hairs? any help at all is appreciated.

Yeah. Try some bikini area hair removing cream. Nair makes a nice cream. You'll need to let the hair grow a little so that you will have some stubble to pull off. Let it stay a little longer than the time given. Maybe an extra five minutes. You will need to use a damp warm towel for best results. Do not try to get it all off, as it may seem like it is not coming off. Instead, wait an hour or so and see that there is a few stubbles, as what you had seen right after you did it will disappear. Then you can shave the rest close to the skin without irritation. They say it is hygenic to shave the pubes. If you are not embarrassed, get a friend or someone to help you shave, especially someone who is expert with a razor.

You don't even have to shave them, you could trim them with a machine like I do. I get no foliculiits (red, itchy bumps with white tops), there is no irritation, it looks neat, hygienic and it makes an impression. When they start growing, they will not ingrow like most shaved hairs, they will not get itchy and you will have no problems what so ever.
