i am morbidly obese i am 24years old 5'7" and i weigh 344 pounds i have completely changed my eating habits and i exercise in the gym 30-40 min 5 days of week 3 days ago i was 342lbs but now i went back up to 344 what happened i dont understandf

It's great that you are putting some effort into your health! Have you made sure that your calories are between 1200-1600 a day? It really helps to keep track of everything you eat carefully...also, you may have gained weight if you put on muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, and muscle will burn lots more calories while you're not exercising. Keep exercising and watch those calories- also drink lots of water. If you find you feel super hungry, drink several glasses of water instead, you will feel fuller and help your body out! Best of luck!

Some people know the formula to get fit but don't do efforts. Its good that you do a lot of efforts to lose your weight. You said you have join Gym and do exercises for 30-40 minutes. that is very good but do those exercises which is suitable for your extra body weight. Consult with your doctor and make a diet plan. Follow that plan seriously that contains low calorie food, totally avoid fried food then definately you see a change in you. All the best!

You probably gained muscles and not fat which is good. of course it depends on how long you have been on a diet. You could have just lost water for the first few days. If you keep up, stick to your diet, you will get results. I hope you talked to a doctor about your diet because your weight requires professional help. You also need someone at the gym to show you the right exercises. You may be doing the wrong ones.
