Sunflower seed habit. Good or bad thing?

Hello, I recently quit snuff tobacco. I have found that things such as gum, herbal chews and sunflower seeds have been extremely helpful to me after quitting tobacco. I probably don't go over the recommended serving size of sunflower seeds per day, but some days, it may be close. I guess I've become a little concerned as to whether or not I should find something else to help, since sunflower seeds are fattening. What I've read about them says that sunflower seeds contain "good" fat, however. I've also read that they contain several other beneficial vitamins and minerals. I guess I'm still just a bit confused, though, as to whether or not I'm doing myself any favors or not here. I'm sure the sunflower seed habit is no where near as harmful as the tobacco habit was, although, unfortunately, heart disease does run in my family, so I have to watch the fat and heart health as well.
