Action/Kinetics: Produces marked sodium retention and inhibits excess adrenocortical secretion. Supplementary potassium may be indicated.

Uses: Addison's disease and adrenal hyperplasia.

Contraindications: Use systemically as an anti-inflammatory.

How Supplied: Tablet: 0.1 mg

Dosage
•Tablets Addison's disease.
0.1-0.2 mg/day to 0.1 mg 3 times/week, usually in conjunction with hydrocortisone or cortisone.
Salt-losing adrenogenital syndrome.
0.1-0.2 mg/day.
