Classification: Analgesic

Content: Nonnarcotic analgesic: Acetaminophen, 325 (Darvocet-N 50) or 650 mg (Darvocet-N 100). Analgesic: Propoxyphene napsylate, 50 or 100 mg.

Uses: Mild to moderate pain (may be used if fever is present).

Special Concerns: Use during pregnancy only if benefits outweigh risks. Safety and a suitable dosage regimen have not been established in children. Increased dosing intervals should be considered in geriatric clients.

Dosage
?Tablets Analgesia.
Two Darvocet-N 50 tablets or 1 Darvocet-N 100 tablet q 4 hr, not to exceed 600 mg/day of propoxyhene napsylate. Reduce total daily dose in impaired hepatic or renal function.
