Bellaspas & liver disease

I have just been prescribed Bellaspas to lessen/hopefully eliminate hot flashes, which wake me up most every night/early morning.

I am concerned about your warning for those with liver disease.
I am 55 yr wf, who was diagnosed several yrs. ago (1989?) with PRIMARY BILIARY CIRRHOSIS/ PBC

The cirrhosis is much the same cirrhosis caused by alcoholism, but I do NOT drink. It would be incredibly stupid of me to drink, which would hasten my need for a liver transplant!

PBC is an rare autoimmunine disease, mostly in women. Cause unknown, & no cure. It is usually treated with Actigall 300 two, three, or more a day.

My PBC is unofficially in remission. My blood tests have improved drastically since I began taking ACTIGALL. I have blood testing done every six months. My recent liver panel have been somewhat abnormal the past 5 yrs., tho MUCH better than when the Red Cross alerted me to the abnormality and when I had a liver biopsy. Many diagnosed with PBC don't fare as well as I have. Many diagnosed with PBC die 5-10 years after beingdiagnosed, or warrant a liver transplant.

So I need to know if taking Bellaspas would make the PBCirhossis terribly worse than having he unwanted hot flashes which disturb my sleep almost every night?

Also, is the Bellaspas ok to take with the three Actigall tablets I take daily. I also take
Synthroid daily.

I sure appreciate your help!
