Lipram 4500By Dale Aschenbach from Jacksonville, Fl. on August 21, 2006 Category: Lipram 4500 (Oral) Hello. I am on Lipram 4500 to help my pancreas. I have been having upper left abdominal pain since having my gallbladder taken out ten years ago. I've had every test in the book to try and diagnose this. Since it was on the left side, my pancreas was never looked at until this year. I finally had to ask my Dr. to check it. It turned out that there was too much pressure on the spincter of oddi and it was cut during a ERCP. Since this was done in April, 2006, the pain has come back. My Dr. put me on the Lipram to help the pancreas digest food. It helps with the pain. I am also on Byetta 5 for diabetes. I have been on it since Sept. 2005. I had lost 25 pounds in the five months or so after starting it. However, the weight stopped and has since started creeping back up. I'm wondering if the Lipram could be causing this? Sorry for the long question. I can't find anything online about it. Thanks. |
