Lengthy spotting while taking microestin fe 1/20By J from San Diego, CA on July 21, 2006 Category: Microgestin 1/20 (Oral) I started using this pill (microestin Fe 1/20-suggested by my doctor because I'm anemic) over a month and a half ago. The first month I had used it I had spotting that lasted for about 3-4 days. This month the spotting has lasted for almost a week(6-7 days), and both times were more like a regular flow too. I'm also scheduled to start my period the week following the week the spotting had ended. Is this normal?? Could this be a reaction from before I started using the pill, where my period lasted for over a week, was very heavy, and very painful?? Should I wait a few more months to see if it continues, or should I see my doctor about a different type of pill?? |
