Taking Tri sprintec after Pregnancy

I had a baby about 2 months ago. I just started on this pill and I forgot about how it says to wait and start the pill when I start my period. Since I just had a baby I have not had my period and I was wondering if it was still ok to start the pill. I would really appreciate a response.
