The use of betamethasone dipropionate cream

I found this cream in my medicine cabinet betamethasone dipropionate cream. It's been a while since I used it. It doesn't say on the tube what it's used for. I'm a baker by trade, and I some times get burn it's been a while since I have. my dr came me this a while back but, I'm not sure for the use of what. Can you answer my question? Can I use it for a minor burn on my arm?
