Will taking Tri-Sprintec make me gain weight?

Hi I started taking birth control just a couple of days ago. I started to take it just for my periods.I'm only 15 so im not taking it for why others take it. Talking to other people that take it most of them say that they gain alot of weight. Im scared because im only taking it for my periods and i don't to gain weight. If im going to gain weight I don't want to take it. Most of my friends say im not going to gain weight because they didn't but other people say that i am going to gain weight. I know I just started to take it but i dont want to gain alot of weight. If im only going to gain a little amount of weight like 5 or 10 pounds thats ok...but one of my friends gained close to 30 pounds. I really dont want to gain weight just to fix and help my period. I need advice other then my friends. I need help, my mom said I wont gain weight but I think she is just telling me that so I don't freak out.byeee Thanks!!!

Hello, i've been on ortho tri-cyclen but due to insurance purposes i was switched to the generic form "tri-sprintec" & yes i've gain alittle weight, like 5lbs

I've been on tri-sprintec 28 for about 2 years now and in 2 years I gained 35lbs and have been on a strict diet and am having problems losing the weight now... so yes you do gain weight.

Weight GAIN with Tri-Sprintec?

I am 14 years old and have been on tri-sprintec for a few months and have gained a massive amount of weight not to include stretch marks i think its the pill that is doing it. i am still active in sports as i was before starting the pills but i seem to not be losing any of the weight. my parents do not believe its the pill, but i do. thanks for the info guys!
