I have the same issueI have the exact same issue. I have noticed that since I started taking it I feel tired and weak on a regular basis. I know that metformin can cause lactic acidosis, and I have had HCV for about 20 years. I would guess that meformin is probably not a good thing for me to take? I was taking glyburide before and that worked well although I was constantly fighting hypoglycemia on a daily basis, but as long as I ate on schedule it worked very well in keeping my blood sugar normal. I have been taking Metformin HCL 500 MG twice a day.In the last two weeks I am having trouble with my eyes. I can not see good close . I have had new glasses last year. I am so concerned about this that I made an appointment with the eye doctor but my appointment is for the end of the month .
