Flecainainide acetate ever connected to seizures or stroke??By James A from hartford, ct on June 27, 2006 Category: Flecainide acetate My wife is currently taking flec. acet. and suffered (apparently) weakness, unconsciousness and possibly a seizure or TIA lasting approx. one minute or so. She had been taking toporol 25 mg but had increased it to 50mds. two days ago, which resuled in her hospitalizaton via ambulance , due to passing out, stiffening of her body, and drooping of one side of her face momentarily, plus vomiting (small amount) on one side of her mouth & cold sweats. ER doctor did CAT, blood tests, chest x-ray with results being all negative. Any thoughts??? |
