Using phenazopyridine hydrochloride

I think I have a urinary tract infection. Symptoms are burning and itching when I urinate. I am male and had unprotected sex many weeks ago. My partner and I were both tested for STDs at the time before we had sex. I assume my codition is a urinary tract infection. I was hoping it would go away by itsled but it didn't so I want to treat it with AZO (phenazopyridine hydrochloride). I hope to see a doctor tomorrow for professional advice.Should I wait to treat myself before I see the doctor because I am wondering whether the AZO could interfere with other tests the doctor may have to run.
