penicillin allergy was given cefazolinBy scott from cleveland, ohio on June 21, 2006 Category: Cefazolin sodium i recently had an elbow scope surgery done, the first time every thing went fine. i had a scar band make my arm lock back up three weeks later requiring another surgery. during the second surgery i was administered cefazolin at one point. i have an allergy to penicillin sctually all the cillins. ever since the surgery i have been having alot of problems,such as blurred vision that comes and goes, tunnel vision, confusion, muscle ticks or twitches mostly in the arms and neck or head, severe head aches whereas there is so much pressure it feels like your eyes are going to pop out, bad stuttering that comes and goes. i have had numerous tests on the brain that have all come back good,have had heart tests that have all come back good, numerous blood tests all come back good. before this surgery i never had any of these symptoms or problems. any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you |
