nicotine polacrilex gum

I started nicotine polacrilex gum Jan. 8, 2006. I had stopped smoking Jan. 2, 2006. I did not want to start smoking again so I got it to help me. I worked great great. It is June 14, 2006 now. I am hooked on the gum now. How long can I chew it and be safe. I will chew it as long as possible to not go back to smoking. Please give me a right answer. I am so afraid it I stop chewing the gum I will go back to smoking. If I could chew it for a few more months I feel I could stop at some point chewing the gum, but not now. I feel I need some help. What can I do now. I need help. I have had not side effects that I know of. The gum has helped me so much. Please send me an answer soon.
