wastage possibilities of Progesteron gel

HEllo,

I am aged 40, living in India. I have undergone IVF treatment and my embrio transfer is over on 8th June. I am given Progesteron gel and while i open the neck, nearly 505 of the gel comes out in the tip. But I manage to insert the tip and squeeze the medicine.

I have a doubt, if it is really effective or the gel that has come out of the tube goes as a waste. Kindly reply me immediatly.
